Sightseeing
Hundreds of dinosaur tracks in the Paluxy River! Head to the Main Track Site and then hike half a mile up to the Overlook Trail for the highest view of the valley. There's 20 miles of hiking trails, picnic tables, grills, swimming, fishing, etc. If there's been rain, call ahead to make sure tracks are visible and trails are open.

Great for kids! They have over a hundred life-sized dinosaur models that are along a path outside. They have a huge playground, animatronics, mining gems, fossil digs, and their gift shop is huge.

Feed a Giraffe from your hand!! Expect to spend 2-4 hours here. There's a halfway point that has a petting zoo, gift shop, and small restaurant that has amazing burgers. They do really great things for their community and for the animals in their care. Watch out for the ostriches though, they're mean!!

Locally owned business that started out as a bookstore and became a small restaurant. They have delicious wraps, sandwiches, soups, and the reuben is a local favorite, and ommg the sweet tea! The ambiance is my favorite. They also have a play-room in the back for kids. *Hint* If the kids pick up their mess before you leave the owner will give them a small prize :)
