Traveling with kids in Oakland
My wife and I have 2 kids so we value insight from locals on what to expect with kids when visiting.
In general: North Oakland is very kid friendly. Many new families have moved in over the last 5 years and now you will see local parks with moms, dads and nannies all day.
Eating with kids: In general Oakland restaurants are kid friendly. Unless you are going to a fine dining restaurant or your kids are REALLY loud most places are very cool with kiddos.
Beer gardens are great for kids. Oakland has several - look them up!
