Neighbourhoods
This is the ‘gay street’ of Amsterdam. Very mainstream and always busy with a lot of people.
A lot of gay bars: Taboo (mostly men), Soho (little more mixed but still a lot of men) and Exit Café (very mixed and young crowd).
Also there is a nightclub called NYX often open until 9 am. Crowd is very mixed (men/women and both straight/gay).
A little further down the street there is a bar called ‘the reality’ which is a little hit or miss, but definitely worth checking out. Especially a safe space for a very diverse crowd.

Local lesbian dive bar. Nice beers and a pool table in the downstairs smoking area. Known as a bar where the ‘older’ lesbians hang out. Not always very crowded but our oldest (and one of the only) lesbian bars in Amsterdam.
