The famous Mendenhall Glacier is a must when visiting Juneau. It's a nice 2 mile walk or bike ride on either a paved bike path or nice gravel trail from Grandma's Suite, Gramdma's Room, Glacier Guest Room, and Gold Nuggett. It's 3 miles from Granite Getaway, and Thunder Mountain Place, 4.5 miles from Shangri-La, 5.5 miles from Harbor Haven and Auke Bay and Suite View.
