Take AC transit bus NX3 (https://sfbaytransit.org/actransit/route/NX3/schedule).
You can walk to the bus station from our house. The walk is about 10-15 minutes depending on your walking pace.

Most Scenic route into the city is to take FERRY into the city. This is the most beautiful route and you get to enjoy the san Francisco bay at its finest.
