Museum

Who doesn't love Dinosaurs? Bring your children or your inner child and go look at the exhibits. Not a huge Museum but great place to see.

Just under an hour drive from Lansing. The Corning Museum of glass is dedicated to the art, history and science of glass. It currently has a collection of more than 50,000 glass objects, some over 3,500 years old. You can also go and see glass blowing or even make some yourself!

Parks and Waterfalls

Great hiking and views. If you are looking to get the most of Upstate New York you should make a point to visit Fillmore Glen State Park. Take the long hike up and around the North Rim Trail or a shorter hike just to see the bridges and falls. This park is a great late spring to fall!

Some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region (and that's saying something). This park is a about a 45 minute drive. But well worth the trip if you are looking for views that will enchant and awe.

One of the tallest waterfalls in the region and an easy walk along the bottom trail these falls are well worth the drive year round. Just remember winter in New York means icy trails!
