Often used as summer residence, it is surrounded by a beautiful park combined with a nice museum that used to be residence of the family of Liechtenstein. Neighborhoods
A nice quarter of Vienna, next to the Liechtenstein Palais (Palace) which leads to Währingerstraße. The houses and institutes in that area are very old and carry lots of stories to be read on the commemorative plaques on the houses.
This is an ancient stairway with lots of history and not to well-known. Strudelhofstiege is a nice walk and the street called Strudelhofgasse is home of a student home and leads straight into park.

Währinger Park is always good for a short walk, or lying in the sun. There is a kids playground, ball cage, skate park, dog area and yet quiet areas and grass for a rest in the same park.
There is free water at water taps in the park.
