Cape Brett is a must-do track in the Bay of Islands. Walking the track takes 6-7 hours one way, depending on agility, with the potential for taking a local water taxi back.

That said, for those wanting more, there are a range of activities to get into. Nearby tracks, such as Cape Brett and Whangamumu, are popular among hikers. There is the potential for spotting whales and dolphins in the nearby bays, which also make for excellent kayaking and fishing places. Kayaks and an outdoor BBQ are available for personal use, so please don't hesitate to ask!
