First time I visited a class there I was really touched by the positive energy of the studio and the teacher. It’s a cozy and very familiar studio where you feel welcomed the very first moment you walk inside.
The offered Yoga style at the classes is Hatha yoga combined with Vinyasa flow and also yin yoga and ashtanga inspired classes. And I guarantee you, you will always feel relaxed and at the same time full of new energy after taking a class there. A place to find yourself again, helping you find a balance in your life.
The team Veronika (the lovely owner of the studio) has put together is just great, I’ve learned so much from them all and they are all unique and bringing their own personality and style in the classes. I always walk out of this lovely place smiling. If you want to escape the city life for a while I strongly recommend this studio. They’re having great offers and if you’re just planning to stay in Munich just for a few days it’s absolutely perfect which doesn’t mean that I do not recommend it in the long run too.

One of my favorite places in Munich when I want to escape the city for a few hours or less is the English Garden. You are in the middle of the city but you’re being surrounded by so much nature.
And one of the places I visit the most is the Eisbachwelle. Even if it is just for a sneak peak when I’m ridding my bike to the city center.
In the middle of Munich: surfing! No matter if it’s summer or winter, morning or evening, rain or sunshine, you will always find a few surfers ridding the cool waves. In the last couple of years there are also some female surfers that I absolutely admire.
If you’re not really the surfer type, this place is still perfect for a cool down on a hot summer day and it’s absolutely amazing. And the unwritten rules between the swimmers and the surfers make them coexist just perfect.
If you don’t happen to wear a bathing suit you can still cool down by seating on the side with your feet in the water and an ice cream in your hand, just watching the brave ones that trusted themselves into the cool but great water!

I have been asking myself lately why everyone talks about this place, also seeing the people coming and going every time I passed by made me more curious... Until I finally tried it myself and it was absolutely the best decision I took that day.
So many tempting flavors making it difficult to choose from, but if you still can’t decide, don’t worry, your ice cream always comes with a spoonful of another flavor to try.
The ice cream is hand made and the taste and texture is really good and natural. My favorite, or favorites, as I couldn’t decide myself, which one is better, is chocolate-ginger and yoghurt-orange. This makes the waiting in the line (depending on outside temperature) really worth it.

They’re also always offering a variety of home made cakes and tarts. And of course everything is organic and with local products. You can even have a look on how they’re preparing, as the kitchen is an open one.
Fresh pressed juices, lassi or different coffees are rounding perfectly the offer.
There are a few tables inside and in the summer months they convert drink cases to tables and seats outside, which makes the place more personal and unique.
Once again it is really worth giving it a try. After seeing the great big salad bowls fellow customers were ordering I got jealous and I will be definitely going back there pretty soon.

The place exists for about 27 years so I think this says it all. They offer a great brunch buffet on different week days (check their web page for more details) and I advise you to reserve a place in advance, as they don’t have so many tables inside.
Their kitchen offers a lot of dishes, also vegan ones and a daily menu, which doesn’t make the choice easier. And their glass case is always full of delicious cakes; the size is amazingly big -still never made out of there with just one piece of cake. They have an absolutely great lunch offer, which includes a main course and a starter (soup or salad) or one piece of cake of your choice. Prices are great and the portions are huge. Besides that, they also offer a happy hour menu with a main course and cake.
In the summer time they have a couple of tables outside, which makes it easier finding a free spot. Otherwise I strongly recommend reserving a table and/or of course, take away.

I found it as I was waiting for an appointment close by and fell in love with the carrot-pineapple-cream cheese-cake and the variety of teas they offer. And I’m not talking about tea bags but fresh teas that not only taste great but also have an amazing smell.
They also serve little different dishes, some of them typical English food, such as scones or bagels. But the most important: the homemade cakes they offer are just amazing! It won’t be easy to choose just one.
So if you’re looking for a nice, cosy place for breakfast, small lunch or cake this is a place that I would really recommend. Not far away from the city center so you could even take a walk there.
Rosa (the amazing woman taking care of the coffee place) managed to make a really familiar place out of it where guests are welcomed by name. As a regular guest just said, here the sun isn't just shining outside but also inside, just because of her.
