Beautiful, leafy park, with duck ponds and a Bandstand hosting concerts every Sunday in the Summer. There is a wonderful play area for children and green space to run around and enjoy a picnic. An idyllic stroll through the park starting at Splash Leisure complex leads to Malvern Theatres and the town itself.

It is small but filled with exhibits on every aspect of Malvern's history and development; geology, intriguing insights into the 19th Century, era of the water cure and items from Malvern's famous defence research establishment, where historic wartime radar was developed.

Abbey Road
Another medieval jewel of Malvern, the Abbey Gateway, is home to Malvern's Museum. It is small but filled with exhibits on every aspect of Malvern's history and development; geology, intriguing insights into the 19th Century, era of the water cure and items from Malvern's famous defence research establishment, where historic wartime radar was developed.
The Malvern Hills are a 15km range of ancient rocks made up crystalline igneous and metamorphic rocks (granite) at least 650 million years old. The soils on the ridge top are thin and support little more than short wiry grasses, providing ideal walking conditions and stunning views. Lower down the soils are stony and thicker, supporting gorse, bramble and bracken interspersed with silver birch, mountain ash, hawthorn, sycamore and oak. These trees are stunted at higher levels but grow thick and lush in the valley bottoms.
The Hills divide the Counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire with the rolling hills and fields of Herefordshire to the West and the flatter plains of the Severn Valley to the East. The drama and beauty of the Hills arise from the way they dramatically rise out of this landscape. Another feature of the Hills are the many springs and fountains which flow from outlets all around them, in particular St Ann's Well and Holy Well.
The Hills are protected under Acts of Parliament and maintained by the Malvern Hills Conservators, controlled by a Board comprising directly elected members and representatives from the various Local Authorities and funded by local rate payers. Although now protected, our ancestors were not so caring and exploited the stone in the hills. As a result there are a number of old quarries dotted around the hills, all of which are now well weathered and form an integral part of the overall landscape.
The highest point on the Hills is the Worcestershire Beacon (425m) with North Hill (397m) and the British Camp Hill (Herefordshire Beacon - 338m) the other highest points. In total there are some 20 named hills comprising the complete range. The entire length of the Hills are open to the public and are criss-crossed with about 160km (100 miles) of bridleways and footpaths. Dogs are allowed on the hills and can be let off lead so long as they are well behaved. Cycling is allowed on bridleways only.

Rose Bank Gardens lie on the edge of the Malvern Hills overlooking Great Malvern and started life as the grounds of Rose Bank, a Regency house that was gifted to the Town in 1918 by Mr Dyson Perrins and subsequently demolished in 1959.
They offer access to the Malvern Hills and St Ann’s Well via the ‘99 steps’ foot path.
The gardens, with excellent views over Malvern, feature terraced pathways, Victorian gas lamps and the spectacular Diamond Jubilee Sculpture of Two Buzzards by Walenty Pytel.
On street level below these gardens, in the bus shelter, the Banksy-style street art is well worth viewing. Lee Morris and Tom Brown, from Malvern, Worcestershire, spent more than 100 hours creating the four images intending it to be an "anonymous gift" to the community.The town council said it had been urged by residents to allow the artwork to remain.
