MASS MoCA also features a wide variety of interesting performances ranging from music to dance parties to speakers. It is worth look at the their events calendar.

Small active city with lots of eating choices and several music venues. Could easily spend a day here walking around the town to eateries, coffee, artisan shops, checking out the Smith College Indoor Gardens. Fairly active night life too.

Greenfield is a town that has struggled to get on its feet. But most of that struggle has been in a positive direction. Turners Falls is approximately 30 minutes east and south of Shelburne Falls. It has its own charm with some eccentric bars, eateries, some found goods stores, music venues, and a pin ball game room.
