Tide Times and beach safety

Be aware of fast moving tides around the local north Norfolk coast. Never swim or take part in water sports when the tide is on the turn or going out to sea. Safest swim times are at slack water between the tides or when the tide is coming in It is possible to become cut off and stranded on sand spits and marsh once the tide starts flooding in. Always consult local tide tables if you are planning a trip to the beach or take a look at the map available at www.tidetimes.org.uk.
