This is the prefect place if you're looking to have an American style breakfast. They have a large variety in their menu, which doesn't mean it's a standard place. Anything you order will be delicious. They also offer traditional Mexican breakfast if you want to try the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros. It's located in a heritage house, nice terrace all around and on one of the nicest streets in the neighborhood with beautiful houses and gardens.

This Sunday antiques market has been going on for decades. Go enjoy a walk along this market and maybe get a bargain or two. You can find antiques, crafts, books, records, collectibles, jewelry, art, rustic objects, masks and anything you can think of! Please try the tejuino with lime ice cream. order with extra lime juice and a pinch of chile if you want it a bit hot. Wonder through the bazars located along the Market on Avenida México too, there's more than what you see on the boulevard. Get there at least at 10 am if you want to get the best stuff. The stalls are open until 2 - 4 pm. You can find them along a two block distance and the visit should take about an hour. After you visit the market you can eat tortas ahogadas or tacos a few steps away or go get some ice cream at Every Polo Norte (traditional place in town) or Momotabi if you're looking for a fun place to eat a wide variety of Japanese inspired flavors.

If you want to dip in a traditional neighborhood market, you should definitely come here. You can find fresh fruit and vegetables, seeds, dry chili and anything you can think of! Try the famous birria and quesadillas fritas . Chicharron (pork) and mushroom quesadilla are my favorite, but you can try different guisados (stews) that go inside the quesadilla. They're served with lettuce, onion, green sauce and cream. Order a fresh agua fresca with your food!

This used to be the main boulevard where well off families used to go out for a walk. It is now full of bars, restaurants, bookstores and coffee shops you can find all along the avenue. It has a walkable wide boulevard where people meet and involve in different activities during the day and has now become an iconic place of Guadalajara. You can find street markets selling clothes, design, arts and crafts and different themed markets depending on the day, from organic produce, to plants and crafts. Sometimes during the day and sometimes at night. The boulevard continues all way to Niños Heroes Avenue and has plenty of space to sit down around trees and fountains and enjoy the sun or walk along and see around. You'll get a nice picture here!
