Places to visit
This short guide does not want to describe precisely the places listed (surely you will have a book with you ;-) ).
Stefano and I have selected these places for their particularity, proximity and ease of reaching them (by foot or by public transport)
This place gives a really breathtaking view in good weather. On clear days you can see the glitter of the Madonnina del Duomo in Milan.
Self Service and the restaurant are really special to have a snack or eat.

Monte Generoso o Calvagione
This place gives a really breathtaking view in good weather. On clear days you can see the glitter of the Madonnina del Duomo in Milan.
Self Service and the restaurant are really special to have a snack or eat.
This mountain, together with Monte Brè and Monte Generoso, offers a breathtaking view. If you have the opportunity to climb, go to the little church where you can reach the roof from behind: the view that will offer you will really be a pleasant surprise.
The restaurant at the funicular stop is very nice, I suggest an aperitif while admiring the Alps facing west.
I do not recommend visiting on rainy days and in stormy days.

Monte San Salvatore station
This mountain, together with Monte Brè and Monte Generoso, offers a breathtaking view. If you have the opportunity to climb, go to the little church where you can reach the roof from behind: the view that will offer you will really be a pleasant surprise.
