Perfect for breakfast before you start the day if you don't want to do breakfast at the house. It opens at 8am in time for your 2nd cup of coffee. This is definitely worth the trip and is an easy 5 minute walk from the house.

I can't believe I have not eaten here sooner! We just tried this place via recommendations for years and it is amazing! French food narrowed down to four choices. Very cozy ambiance as well. The food is marvelous!

Exercise
A much easier way to get to the trails within Griffith Park than Beachwood Canyon, I think anyway. Very spacious trails and you can make it to the Hollywood sign from the trailhead in probably 1.5 hours. Great hike, great workout and plenty of amazing views of the canyons and the ocean on a clear day.

Not many people know this exists, not even the locals! It is a beautiful sanctuary. No cars, no dogs (although that bums me out a little)...just nature, bicycles walkers/runners.
