We love this drive because it is in Medicine Bow National Forest, has lots of hiking trails, some above timberline. This year the wildflowers are jaw-dropping! This is a must-see.
There is fishing in the lakes and Wyoming fishing licenses are only around $10 a day. Buy your license at the Fly Store in Laramie before you go. Beautiful!!! Once you hike away from the road you will hardly see another person.
