While the artificial island gets extended and renewed Haas & Popi is a nice laidback beach shack in the middle of the land reclamation process. Here you can spend a nice long sunny afternoon on their large terrace, often with dj or live music and a bohemian atmosphere. We go here quite often on sunny afternoons for local beer & bitterballen. Try this typical Dutch 'hapje' of beef filling with a crunchy cover as a snack, you'll love it! To get here is a 15 minute walk from home enjoying the paronamic views on the IJmeer, Holland's largest sweet water lake.

Here you can sit nicely on their outdoor terrace at the water to enjoy the sunset and good food! Get off at the 2nd trams stop from home to the city and walk to your left until your reach the water (300 m). Lovely food too.
