If you want really good fish and chips plus loads more THIS place IMO is the best in Hereford !! it is about a 20 minute drive from here depending on traffic and you can pre-order..their menu is in the rack in the house !

This park is lovely. if you have dogs I often take mine there.. ...it has well laid out paths and is dog friendly obviously ! about a 20 minute drive from her but worth the trip ! There is also a great park there with swings and rides and a pirate ship for children to play in !

Sightseeing
If you have children, well young children that is ! this is a super place to take them ! Not only are they lovely woodland walks to go on but they have recently added the "Gruffalo Trail" which i gather is a lovely walk whereby life sized wooden carvings are to be found from the characters in Roald Dahl's famous book ! there is also a cafe and a lovely gift shop there too. loads of parking which i think is £2.00 so remember to take change !

Queenswood Country Park The Gruffalo Trail
If you have children, well young children that is ! this is a super place to take them ! Not only are they lovely woodland walks to go on but they have recently added the "Gruffalo Trail" which i gather is a lovely walk whereby life sized wooden carvings are to be found from the characters in Roald Dahl's famous book ! there is also a cafe and a lovely gift shop there too. loads of parking which i think is £2.00 so remember to take change !
