My favorite restaurants and coffee shops in the area
These are a few of my favorite places to eat out in Ballito.
The nougat cheesecake is to die for! Its a lovely, peaceful little coffee shop, only 700m from the apartment. It has a jungle gym for the kiddies as well as a lovely walk through the forest, where you can spot little duikers (deer).
For the geochaces, you may find a little more than just food there too ;)

Go at sunset and ask for a seat upstairs. The view is just absolutely magical. one of my favourites!!

If you leave the apartment and walk along the wooden promenade along the beach front you'll eventually come to a little coffee shop called Concha. Besides a lovely long walk taking in the amazing scenery the coffee at Concha is one of the best!

Just a hop, skip and jump away from the apartment, you'll find Thompson's Bay. Where you can swimming, surf or just bask in the sun.

Literally a few steps away from the apartment. Loads of gorgeous rock pools for the kids to go fish in. If you carry on walking along the promenade with the ocean on your left, you'll come to a great tidal pool, with lots of lovely corals to admire.

Willard Beach
102C Compensation Beach RdLiterally a few steps away from the apartment. Loads of gorgeous rock pools for the kids to go fish in. If you carry on walking along the promenade with the ocean on your left, you'll come to a great tidal pool, with lots of lovely corals to admire.
A great spot for the kids to run around. There a jump park, as well as some cycling routes. For the bigger kids there is a Laser Tag venue and for the little ones a great jungle gym area.
They also often have live local bands playing.
