Local Hot Spots in Jamaica Plain

We have several neighborhoods in Jamaica Plain. We have Forest Hills, where we live and then we have The Brewery district, Hyde Square, JP Centre at the Pond, and many more- but let's focus on these for now.
Brewery District: Whether you are a couple or a family or a group of friends. Bella luna in the Brewery District near Stony Brook T stop at the Sam Adams Brewery location is festive and fun. Great food with options of pizza, pasta, salads, burgers, entrées, appetizers and evening line-ups (live music, trivia, dj etc) check out their website https://www.milkywayjp.com. You can walk from our place - it's a 15 minute walk or take the T. Make arrangements to take a brewery tour in the afternoon and then go there for dinner.

Forest Hills: We love Tikki Masala which is right on the other side of Forest Hills station. Just walk through and you will find several restaurants worthy of enjoying. -The Indian food is great here and we prefer it to Bukarra. The staff is friendly and the food is fresh and delicious. They deliver, you can pick up take out and or have your meal inside. Enjoy!

Forest Hills: Another good option on the other side of the station. Brick oven pizzas, great beer, pastas, burgers, salads, all good and moderately priced. A local hang out for some and you can either sit in the bar section or in the restaurant side.

Forest Hills: A true gourmet experience. Warm vibe, amazing food - not large portions but they take the time to completely describe their food to you as they deliver it. Special place which is a fine dinner location at night and a great coffee shop by day. Again- just across the station on the other side.

JP Centre: This is about a 15 minute walk from our place. Or you can take the 39 bus across the street (make sure to get a Charlie card at the kiosk in the station). This is one of Boston's homemade ice cream business. Started in Jamaica Plain (J.P.) it's been around since 1983. This is their home base where they make the ice cream and roast the coffee. Ice cream isn't cheap and they make their's kosher. Delicious and open until midnight most nights.
