Our favorite good eats in the San Miguel/ Magdalena area. Go for a walk, have a great meal and digest as you walk and enjoy the local scenery. If you walk towards the Magdalena market you will finds TONS of restaurants. I just mentioned the one that I have tried and really liked!
Tienen buenos menus a un buen precio bien servidos a excelentes precios. Me encanto tanto la sazon que los contrate para que hicieran una comida para una reunion familiar. So, if you are looking for cheap and delicious lunch menus this is a great place. I love the food so much that I once hired their services to host a dinner with my family.

Algo muy tipico de Lima son los anticuchos y picarones. Este lugar esta cerca de nuestro apartamento y cerca al parque Media Luna y Malecon que contiene vistas muy lindas del oceano pacifico. Lima is known for their anticuchos and picarones. This place is a few blocks from the apartment in front of the Media Luna park, with great views of the pacific ocean.

This is the closest supermarket. It 2 blocks away! However, if you are adventurous and want an experience keep walking two more blocks and you will find authentic local markets, the scent of fresh fruits and people selling different products will be evident. Bakeries, other restaurant and street food are also there....

Now… this is very local and in the market itself. If you like smoothies, you will love his place. Typical juices are "surtido" and "special" they are hands down the best. The order is not by glass but rather by jar so with one order you can really have up to 3 servings!!! This is the fast food of smoothies. They also make sandwiches, my personal favorite is the chicken sandwich. If you look for a good looking restaurant, this is not your place.. again is very local but the food and smoothies are amazing!!

If you are in Lima, you have to try the Chifa. It's a Peruvian Chinese fusion and does not taste like Chinese food in the States. This place is small and always popping. The portions are large and the flavors amazing. You can order to go if its too crowded or eat there. Oh yes and sometimes there's a lady selling dessert called Mazamorra Morada con Arroz con leche, I suggest you take one to go. Very good too!!! Este es el mejor chifa del area.

The portions are large and the flavors amazing. You can order to go if its too crowded or eat there. I've been taking my kids to this ice cream place for years and now I take my grandkids too. It is so natural and so good. One of the best ice cream places!! you will find pieces of fruit in the ice cream. Our favorite flavors lucuma (peruvian fruit) passion fruit or maracuya coffee chirimoya chocolate

Lima is all about the seafood and this place is a good spot to visit. If you want to try everything and don't know where to start, no problem, Mar de Mares has lots of trios, so you can have a little bit of this and that. #ceviche #arrozconmariscos #jalea #causa
