White sand, about ½ mile from one side to the far end. Swim with care and know your skill, on rough water days, there can be a rip current that can be dangerous. One end is better for body boarding and the other in front of the hotel, a bit more calm. Areas to get out of sun and often folks gather in one of the pavilions for picnics, BBQ. It's a win win!
