Blockley Cafe is a fabulous contemporary Restaurant serving wonderful food & great coffee / drinks, all cooked fresh to order. Open for Breakfast and Lunch until late in the afternoon and occassionally for Special Dinners too. The Grocery Shop next door caters for most of your day to day needs. Larger Shops available in other nearby towns.

Daylesford, if you have not been before, is a wonderful Organic Farm Shop, which has a fantastic Restaurant / Cafe, a Fabulous Fresh Farm Produce Shop, a Florist, a Spa (which offers an amazing Yoga / Pilates space and fabulous for Massages / Facials in their Haybarn Spa - booking is essential). Open during Day times throughout the year and occasional evenings and events throughout the year. Daylesford Festival in the Summer is one not to miss !. Approx 10 miles from Blockley. Fantastic walks around the Daylesford Estate too (owned by the Bamford Family).

Parks & Nature
Walking around the immediate area is truly beautiful, as the village itself has some wonderful architecture, lovely little lanes, and fabulous footpaths and trails, especially up and over the hills and down along the babbling Blockley Brook. (great for all ages, but children in particular would love paddling in here in the summer months, and dogs adore this too). There are many National Trails, footpaths around the area (The Cotswold Way is close by too).

Chipping Campden, just 2 miles away has many different shops, restaurants and cafes, together with a select number of fine dining spots, art galleries, etc. The High Street is one of the Cotswolds Jewels in the Crown.

Broadway is one of my personal favourite destinations too and is only 5 miles from the cottage. Fabulous walks all around Broadway too and a Walk to the famous Broadway Tower is a great morning or afternoon out (there's a cafe at the top too). If you are feeling really energetic, you can walk from the Cottage to Broadway across the public footpaths. I love The Broadway Deli, serves some fantastic dishes - only open during the daytime, and has a wonderful garden and al fresco eating area at the back on warmer days. The Lygon Arms Hotel is just stunning. Great for that "Special Celebration / Dinner" or a casual Lunch. Some fabulous shops and galleries and a few good pubs too.

Broadway
Broadway is one of my personal favourite destinations too and is only 5 miles from the cottage. Fabulous walks all around Broadway too and a Walk to the famous Broadway Tower is a great morning or afternoon out (there's a cafe at the top too). Stratford upon Avon is on a fabulous River, where you can hire a boat or go on a boat trip, go to the RSC (Royal Shakespeare Theatre) , find some great shops, lovely Restaurants, many in old tudor buildings. A fabulous huge Park (with great play park for children), many pubs etc.

There is a great scene for Music Culture here too with various Festivals throughout the year, together with the famous Literacy Festival, The Cheltenham Gold Cup (Horse Racing) is in March - and a great event to go to. Lovely Parks, Outdoor Swimming Pool (Lido) open to the public in Summer Months. Great Restaurants and Bars too.
