In summer, every few days night events are hosted in the beach. I especially recommend the so-called 'Nits de Jazz', or Jazz Nights, where live Jazz music is played by different artists, bands, and sometimes the local orchestra.

Parks & Nature
'Camí de Ronda', a trail through the rocky shores of the Costa Brava. Amazing landscape, ideal for a day-trip (or half a day). From Platja d'Aro, the path runs both to the South (towards S'Agaró) or to the North (toward Sant Antoni). I personally recommend the northern part: it's longer, wilder and more peaceful.
