This Starbucks is steps away from our guest suite and is open early and stays open late. They have food and coffee and the standard Starbucks stuff. This is a great place to grab quick takeaway foods.

This is the BEST coffee in the city! We are total coffee snobs, and Philz can't be beat. It's a local chain and this Noe Valley location is right across the street from a local park. If you try to get into a Philz Coffee downtown you'll wait in line... at this location it's rare to wait more than 5 mins. It's a nice walk down 24th street, and takes about 10 mins from our guest suite. We highly recommend trying the Soooo Good and Philharmonic blends. Ask for cinnamon in the pour over cone, you won't be disappointed.

Barney's has a large menu of salads and burgers, and there's something for everyone. The heated outdoor patio is nice too! The food is good and relatively budget friendly. This is a very casual place, and a great spot for a quick bite. It's very kid friendly and they offer coloring books and other fun stuff to keep kids entertained.

This is our local grocery store - it is just steps away from our place. You can get all sorts of food and drinks here, with most everything being organic and natural. One thing to note if you are not familiar with Whole Foods - they don't sell regular sodas and candy like other types of groceries (No coke or Doritos, etc). Look for a convenience store or Walgreens to find those brands. There are a lot of prepared sandwiches and a deli and salad bar inside if you want a quick bite or food/drinks to take to a picnic or on the road.
