Every Wednesday night, Uncle Robert's is open to the public. There is live music, lots of delicious local eats and drinks, as well as vendors with lots of cool stuff. A must-see, especially since it is right down the road!

If you haven't tried kava or kombucha before, you are missing out! Kava is a ceremonial drink from the Fiji island that induces a state of relaxation. It has been used for centuries to relieve stress and anxiety. They also have kombucha, which is fermented tea, and is loaded with probiotics, vitamin B's, and antioxidants. It is a healing elixir that has been used for millenia. At the kava bar, you can bring your own container and fill it up with one (or several) of their amazing concoctions. Highly recommended.

Parks & Nature
This black sand beach is hidden, but you will notice lots of cars parked at the trailhead. It is a bit of a treacherous hike down, so make sure you bring good walking shoes. But once you are down there, it is incredible. The waves are pretty aggressive, so most days it isn't the safest place to swim. But, it is stunning and probably the best black sand beach around. Enjoy!

This well groomed park is absolutely beautiful, with lots of Japanese features and tons of Banyan trees which are HUGE and incredibly intricate.

Volcano National Park is an amazing place to visit. During the day you can visit old lava tubes where lava flowed through the Earth and left a tunnel or enjoy the many hiking trails. There is also a beautiful drive down to the water through the park where you can see ancient petroglyphs and even see the lava actively flowing into the ocean. At night, don't miss the glowing cauldron inside the park. Seeing it glow under the stars is a memorable experience.
