Food Scene
Our food scene is full of our regular go-to places when in town. Aside from our recommendations. there are many fast food options. There are other eateries which I am sure are worth a visit. This list includes our tried and true favorites.

Save room for their creme brulee of the month, always the best dessert on the menu. Hagens closes from November through March.

The menu has many great meals including a Kentucky hot brown, enough for four people. Save room for their creme brulee of the month, always the best dessert on the menu. Hagens closes from November through March.
For a quick meal, consider Chicagos. Very poplular for their pizza and salad bar, they also have a menu for specialty pizzas and baked potatoes.

This little pizzeria is ideal if you have children. It is attached to the arcade and bowling alley. Plutos Well is also in the bowling alley if you want to peer at your children while ejoying an adult beverage ;) Play an awesome game of vintage Ms. Pacman in the bar.

We love this place. They offer fast, friendly service and delicious food. The bean dip is great. Authentic Mexican food just as it should be. They do have American menu items as well.

Perhaps the best bagel sandwhichesee have ever had. This bagel shop, directly across from West Badens entrance has coffee, adult beverages and board games, to play and to purchase. Check out their facebook page some weekend events include an open mic night, which is rich with local talent.

aside from tasting, this place has amazing food. Featuring Italian cuisine including pizza and pasta with oversized servings, we have never disappointed. Buy local wine and liquors in the darling store.

This restaurant/bar is on the lower level of the French Lick Hotel. It gets its name as the original power fixtures in the hotel. They are quite fascinating. The good news is it stays open more later than other restaurants in the area, usually 11 or even 12. The bad news is there can be a wait during busy dinner hours and when there is a band. Usually you can catch some fun music and even dancing on the weekend nights. I suggest calling ahead to check wait time before heading over. The pork tenderloin sandwich, the club and their french fries are great.

Enjoy the French Lick pool scene with this pool-side restaurant/bar. Open seasonally, great margaritas and apps keep you out of the heat and satisfied. The chicken bacon ranch quesadilla is great (and can be shared by two).

Mystery is part of the West Baden history and adds to its allure. The outer circle has many shops worth a gander.

Transportation
The resorts offer free transportation via trolley, shuttle or limo service. From downtown French Lick and West Baden easily pick up a ride to almost anywhere. Parking lots are free and valet is available at both resorts and the Casino. You can catch the resort transportation from any French Lick property.
