The food is AMAZING!!!!! This special family of foodies has made a little bit of food heaven in the Welsh countryside. Its like being in London (sorry). The Deli has cheeses, chocolate, sourdough and everything in between. The cafe closes at 7pm so we go either on the way in for dinner or on our way out for lunch. But we always go.

The food is AMAZING!!!!! This special family of foodies has made a little bit of food heaven in the Welsh countryside. Its like being in London (sorry). It puts the hip into hippy. This funky pizza cafe is on the river and run by the people at Fforest. Super cool and delicious. Its only open in the summer holidays though. Go to Cardigan castle while you're there its right opposite.

Parks & Nature
Its a human sized waterfall with a plunge pool. My kids climb up and jump in but take a wetsuit! Fabulous rope swing over the water and too photogenic for words. There is unlikely to be anyone else there. Go to the Nags head pub in Abercych, Boncath on your way back.

Epic fishing were super friendly and really good at their job. The owner really knows where the fish are, we were throwing them back in! We caught 28 mackerel and took home 10 to BBQ on the beach that very day. They showed us how to fillet them and we all tried a bit of raw mackerel sashimi on the boat. It was a really great experience.

Epic Fishing Trips
Epic fishing were super friendly and really good at their job. The owner really knows where the fish are, we were throwing them back in! We caught 28 mackerel and took home 10 to BBQ on the beach that very day. They showed us how to fillet them and we all tried a bit of raw mackerel sashimi on the boat. It was a really great experience.
Arts & Culture
Welsh blankets, so many! You can buy from the weavers there, after you've had a tour of the mill. There are great seasonal crafts for children to make and a young ones play area in the cafe. We have spent many a rainy afternoon there when the kids were small.

Its a cinema but it also broadcasts live arts events from all over the world. We are usually watching a kids movie though!

Shopping
The farmers market on a Friday is great, including a monthly craft market. The town has everything you could ever need but more importantly it has 4 antique/junk shops (grab a bargain) and two health food shops. If I'm not shopping at my local this is where I go.

If Pete hasn't got it he'll get it in for you. I buy all my food there because I hate "the big shop at Tesco" and because Petes choices suit my food choices. We like to cross the road outside our house and wall the 10 minutes it takes to get there through the fields. He has many veggie and vegan options, his meat comes from a well respected local butcher and he has a fine champaign and whisky section. He supports all his local producers of which there are many. And theres a post office.
