Anyone looking for bargains while in Saigon should head to Saigon Square on the corner of Nam Kỳ Khởi and Le Loi in District 1. This shopping arcade is packed with stalls on two levels selling fashion, accessories and jewellery – be aware of forgeries though, and remember the old adage that if it seems too good to be true it probably is. Even though it’s always bustling with shoppers, Saigon Square is air conditioned and under cover so it is far more pleasant than shopping in the nearby Ben Thanh Market and it’s generally accepted that prices are far better here

It's a nice place to visit and learn about the Vietnam war. The palace was earlier known as Norodom Palace and was the place and workplace of the president of the south Vietnam. The palace is open and we can through the president resident room, and office. There is also a bunker which is in the basement and there are a lot of machines for communication system that would have been used during the early days. We can also see a lots of maps during that time. The palace had a cinema hall, helipad, and recreation area. They are all well maintained. It was a nice visit.

This is almost the centre of everything you can see in Saigon. Q Bar on the side for gay community, shopping right in front and Dong Khoi (shopping street) in right there. Rooftop bar on Rex hotel !

This Street was so fuuny, along many bars, pubs.This particular place is very packed and loud at night though a great deal inexpensive places to grab beer and food. Some streets might not appropriate for children to go through. A couple of identical souvenir shops. A lot of seating directly on the block, and the majority of locations have awnings to sit down under in case it rains. In case you receive irritated by street vendors easily, certainly do not go, but in case you're glad to wave them off of with a smile next you need to give it a shot

Enter the narrow restaurant and you'll be ushered upstairs to the seating area where 2 rows of tables line the room on either side of the wall. It was hectic and noisy, punctuated by a constant hum of social chatter which permeated the din. Menus in English are available for people like us who cannot read Vietnamese. Deciphering the meaning of the names of the dishes available on the other hand requires some advanced knowledge garnered from years of eating Vietnamese pho overseas. Having eaten pho so many times before, it came as a surprise that the locals would squirt the sweet sauce into the soup rather than just using it for dipping.
