The Alhambra Palace and Gardens.
The Alhambra is one of the busiest and most spectacular sites in our area and even all of Spain. During the summer months it is usually necessary to book tickets at least a month, sometimes longer, in advance. The tickets are inexpensive but must be booked through the official site.

I know this sounds odd, but our evenings can be quite cool, even in summer! Our village sits at almost 1000m of elevation so we are basically a high desert type environment. That means 30-40C degree(85-105F) daytime temps and 15-25C degree(58-77F) evening and nighttime temps.

Take a siesta!! You'll need it.
One of the best ways to adjust to the time change and the local customs is to have a big lunch then take a Siesta! The whole town essentially shuts from 2pm-5pm and no-one really goes out in the evening till after 8pm. In the wintertime this adjusts a bit. In the evening(9pm-2am) the local restaurants, cafes, and bars are quite lively and you will see whole families out and about enjoying the local ambience and cooler temps.
