Be captain of your own boat! Rent an electric boat. (95 euro for 2 hours, 8 passengers). You get a map of the canals and you steer your own way through the canals. My favorite route: eastbound, pass Artis Zoo and see the giraffes and zebra's from your boat. Bring a picnic basket and enjoy your beer, wine and snacks- it's so relaxing and so much fun to go gently down the stream.
