After 20 km of underground flow, Ombla comes straights out of the stone cliffs as the powerful spring. 30 meters from the Ombla source there is a small waterfall after which Ombla empties into Adriatic sea, in the 5 km long fjord called Rijeka dubrovačka. No wonder that Dubrovnik¨s nobility has chosen this particular location back in the 16th century to build their mansions.
