Right around the corner. As my Persian sister-in-law says, "Byblos is known as the best Mediterranean cafe in Denver." As my mother, the retired dietitian reminds me, "Middle Eastern food is the best for you".

Flavorable. One of the few "destination" restaurants along the Front Range. They should pay me for saying this: arguably the best restaurant in Colorado. And it's 3 blocks from the house. You'll need a reservation and $50-80 per plate to dine at this quaint destination spot. All about the chef. Look it up.

I go to lunch with my buddies here, usually on our birthdays. Always delicious steaks, excellent service, great room. 5 minute drive. Why do I sound like a TV commercial? For what it's worth, I'm only mentioning my favorite spots-nice place or dive-based on 30 years living in Denver Area

I get great gardening ideas here! I've been a member for a while. They have some great artistic and herbal/botany-istic exhibits, it's clean, smells nice. Has a great place to lunch with friends. They have an interesting concert venue in summer-maybe 1,000 seating on the lawn. 8-10 blocks, next to Cheeseman Park.

If you didn't plan your trip around a show at The Rocks, go here anyway. Beautiful, spiritual, unique in all the world. The acoustics are legendary, the view of Denver and the plains is outstanding. One of the area's truly remarkable and unforgettable spots. for a day trip, drive 25 minutes west on I-70, take the Red Red / Morrison Exit south, follow the signs. Bring your mountain bike or hiking shoes. Check out the (relatively) new restaurant and historic tour inside, top of the big stairs. Amazing to consider all the shows over the years and some of the events that made music history. I missed the Beatles in '65, but I've been to maybe 100 concerts so far-many that I remember!-including a few Sunrise Services at 5:00 AM on Easter Sunday. It never gets old. Run the stairs, do the single-track on you bike that heads over Dinosaur Ridge and the Hogback. Then go have a margarita at the Morrison Inn and let someone else drive.

The vibe: refreshing, inclusive, active, healthy, adventure, alive, chill, passionate. Common ground for Coloradans and Denverites. Surprisingly massive with the best people-watching/dog-walking/meet-up-with-your-friends or make friends spot in Denver. Plus, a lake, tennis courts (turn off the lights if you're the last one out at night), paddle-boats, restaurant, jogging trails, bicycling lanes, parties, volleyball games. Wash Park is 2/3 the size of Golden Gate Park in SF-I did the math.
