Entertainment & Activities

The Ravello Festival is also popularly known as the "Wagner Festival" and is an annual summer festival of music and the arts held in the town of Ravello on the Amalfi coast. The festival has been held yearly since 1953 when the town fathers decided to use the historical fact of the visit to Ravello in 1880 by German composer Richard Wagner as a way to promote tourism and bolster the economy of the area in the difficult years following the Second World War. The composer had been so taken with the beauty of the Villa Rufolo in Ravello that he is said to have proclaimed, in reference to a character in his own opera Parsifal, "Here is the enchanted garden of Klingsor"

Sightseeing

That of the Amalfi Coast, it’s well known, is a wonderful sea. Limpid waters, walls of limestone, an indented coast full of caves and coves. An authentic charm, that the Tritone guests can enjoy from the private beach of the Hotel. A place that is private and peaceful, ideal for a dip between the waves, a sunbath, a boat ride. The refreshment area, increasingly valued by the guests, also allows them to taste a quick snack or more elaborate dishes that come directly from the kitchen of La Cala delle Lampare, the hotel restaurant. http://grandhoteltritone.com/our-sea/?lang=en
There are some company to buy the capri tour on a private boat for max 10/12 People or it's possible to take the ferry boat from Positano. Try to arrive on Capri as early as possible and head first to the private jetty in Marina Grande, which is the departure point for boat tours to the Blue Grotto (on the same dock where most ferries from the mainland arrive). Sometimes the Capri boat tour including a visit to the Blue Grotto. You can take either the complete circle tour, which includes the thrill of sailing through the arch in the dramatic Faraglioni rock formations, or the shorter tour, which only sails as far as the Blue Grotto and back.
