“Toro Negro State Forest is one of the 21 forests that make up the public forests system in Puerto Rico; it's also Puerto Rico's highest cloud forest. It is located in the Cordillera Central region of the island and covers 8,204 cuerdas of mountains. Toro Negro's mountains have heights reaching up to 4,400 feet (1,300 m) and include Cerro de Punta, Cerro Jayuya and Cerro Rosa, the three highest peaks in the island. Nested among these mountains is Lake Guineo, the island's highest lake. The forest has 18 kilometers (11 mi) of trails, an observation tower, two natural swimming pools (Spanish:"charcos"), camping and picnic areas, nine rivers, and numerous creeks and waterfalls. El Bosque Estatal Toro Negro es que componen el sistema forestal público en Puerto Rico. También es el bosque nublado más alto de Puerto Rico. Se encuentra en la región de la Cordillera Central de la isla y cubre 8,204 cuerdas (7,968 acres; 3,224 ha; 32.24 km2), de montañas. Las montañas de Toro Negro tienen alturas que alcanzan hasta 4.400 pies (1.300 m) e incluyen Cerro de Punta, Cerro Jayuya y Cerro Rosa, los tres picos más altos de la isla. Anidado entre estas montañas se encuentra el lago Guineo, el lago más alto de la isla. El bosque tiene 18 kilómetros (11 millas) de senderos, una torre de observación, dos piscinas naturales "charcos", áreas para acampar y hacer un picnic, nueve ríos y numerosos arroyos y cascadas.”
