“Not very famous among tourists, I consider it a hidden gem. It's a peaceful, beautiful and well maintained park. It has a Buddhist temple, a football field, picnic area, adventure area, trails, camping area, convenience store, car park, playground and it is near a subway station!”

“Kang Byung-In, a renowned calligrapher, really made his name doing the calligraphy for the bottles of a famous soju line. Sooltong is his studio, store, and gallery. Here, you can watch calligraphy being written and also participate in workshops. They teach in English as well as Korean. Since it is located in small alleyway, Sooltong is best reached on foot. That way you can also explore the maze-like alleys of Seochon, lined with traditional hanoks and new shops. ”

Subway Station
“Exit subway station 4 and keep walking straight. Cross the second intersection and you’ll be in Sinnae Park, where you can hop on the hiking path. The mountain is pretty small, so the hike is pretty easy. It takes around 30 minutes to the peak, where there are refreshments, games, and a fantastic view of Seoul! Bring a friend and pack a lunch!”
