“The Meguro River (目黒川 Meguro-gawa) is a river which flows through Tokyo, Japan. Its tributaries include the Kitazawa River and the Karasuyama River. The river flows into Tokyo Bay near the Tennōzu Isle Station. The river is 7.82km in length and passes through Setagaya, Meguro and Shinagawa wards. The river banks are extensively landscaped and act as an urban green space for communities along its length. Close to the source of the river in Setagaya, the river is divided vertically between an large underground storm drain and surface level landscaped ornamental stream. At Ōhashi Junction where the river passes under the Route 246 and the Tōmei Expressway, the river re-emerges as a broader, surface level water channel. The river is a popular venue for cherry blossom viewing in the spring. ”

Parke
“This is a great spot for a Spring or early Summer picnic and boasts impressive views of the surrounding neighbourhoods. On a clear day, you might well catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji in the distance. This park is also a popular spot for residents of Daikanyama and Nakameguro to walk the already mentioned extremely over pampered dogs. additionally, it’s a great spot to catch the sunset, so depending on timing you could loop back here at the end of your walk.”

Shopping Mall
“In a perfect world, all bookshops would be like this. Tokyo's Klein Dytham Architecture won an award at the World Architecture Festival for their work on Daikanyama T-Site, which is spread across three interlinked buildings adorned with lattices of interlocking Ts. That 'T' stands for rental chain Tsutaya, whose seemingly bottomless pockets helped fund the kind of book emporium that most capital cities can only dream of. It's easy to lose hours thumbing through the selections here, which include a good range of English-language titles, art books, antique tomes and magazine back issues. There are also music and DVD sections – Tsutaya's normal stock in trade – as well as branches of Starbucks ”

“RAMEN! They serve the usual tonkotsu-gyokai double soup for lunch, but at night serve a creamy chicken and seafood blend that is heavenly. Warito also employs a number of tricks to keep your tsukemen at a steady heat throughout the meal. This shop is a descendent of the legendary TETSU, which is probably one of the three or four most famous tsukemen shops in Tokyo. The shop is clean and sleek with lots of dark brown woods contrasting with the gleaming silver kitchen, but none of this is self-consciously overdone. Merely, every part of the ramen experience has been carefully considered. This is a very pleasing shop. Tokyo, Meguro-ku, Aobadai 3-7-10 Open from 11am-330pm and 6-10pm-closed Wed”

Restawran ng Soba
“With its downstairs entrance, this soba restaurant is a real hidden treasure. Once you’ve descended the stairs, you’ll find yourself in an unexpectedly spacious restaurant, with seats overlooking the garden. A lot of affection has gone into this restaurant, right down to the bowls, which are handmade by the owner. If you’re visiting during the summer, you have to order the seasonal cold sudachi soba—a dish of buckwheat noodles covered in slices of Japanese citrus fruit, which is refreshing just to look at, let alone eat!”
