I love the outdoors and nature verses gyms. I prefer my workouts to be on the water. The creek is full of trout and beaver. The beaver's are about the size of a 3 year old toddler and can be agressive. They mostly run away from people but if they have babies around they can be territorial. I have ropes tied to tree's so if you want to tie a tube and float you can. it's mostly shallow 3 to 4 foot deep. if it rains hard it can get to 4 to 5 foot but it runs fast! you can stand up. it can be dangerous. so please becareful ! I know 4 to 5 foot of water doesn't sound like much and most people are tall than that and even you can't swim you think it's not over my head I can just stand up. no you can't. it's white water. It runs so fast that you get it the water will take you over a mile in less than a min. believe me I've done it. It scary and dangerous. Not only that when you can get to the side of the bank then you have to crawl up a hill to the road and walk back. or have someone come pick you up. But if do jump in make sure you feet are down river so your head doesn't hit a rock. If you get in that situation the keep you get ahead of you and you cans kick off rocks. there is huge boulders under the water you can't see when it's high water. so you don't want to be slammed into them. Even you are on a tube or a 1 man boat the will flip you out. be brave but be Smart. I've see. while tree's floating down and going fast. I've wanted to jump in and ride it but I knew that would be stupid. because that big tree that just when floating by I could catch if I wanted to because it's moving live 25 Miles per hour and it's not little tree but a huge oak tree about 15 foot tall and about 2 ft around. so if creek is rushing that fast and taking that tree with it what do you think it will do with you? Ive been in all kind a water and swept out at the beach in a undertoe. you can't fight a under toe. you have to let it take you out while getting pounded by waves. As soon as you get to the surface for air another one pounds you don't and under and it pulls you out. and if try and fight it you will get tried and die no one can help you in that kind of situation. they cant pull you out or they will get sucked in. also I don't care how good of a swimmer you are the water is so strong you can swim in it or against it it's like you are in a washing machine get tumbled about in water that you could stand up in if you could stand up. you barely can find the surface Because you can't tell up or bottom. you do figure it out you got about enough to to draw a breathe again to get smack with such a big wave that it puts in the bottom bit like a washing machine . but you have to met it take you out and then it's calm water all of a sudden it's was a scary 15 mins of my life and I was way out in the water now. so then uyou have to swim parallel to the beach and then swim back in. You can see them if you look at the water before you jump in. I didn't look but I always do now and a good way to know is if your staning in the water toes in and it feels like you feet are moving in the sand . that means theres a ripe tide close. so don't go out and higher than you hip or if your stinger person makebe your waist because you csnt swim in a ripe tide or undertoe so don't try or bother. This water can be just as dangerous as that. Nobody can pull you out. You have to swim to the side and keep your head about you. So first don't going jumping in it if the water is up. I've paddled, floated, boated and jet skied and fished these rivers, canals, channels all my life. I know all the secluded spots to rope swing, have a picnic and camp.
